What does STEAM mean?

S.T.E.A.M.?  What is that? Maybe you are thinking in a special room full of steam where you can relax, but you are wrong because  this new word comes from  STEAM Education   that according to the Institute For Arts Integration " is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking " ( https://artsintegration.com/what-is-steam-education-in-k-12-schools/)                                  S for Science                                  T for Technology                                  E for Engineering                           ...

Union Flag or Union Jack?

Many people identify this flag, but where is this flag from? when I  asked, some students told me "It's England flag" other said "It's Australian flag" but other said "It's British flag"
The true is that this flag identify four different countries, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales that conform the United Kingdom.

This flag combines aspects of three of these countries:

The red cross of Saint George that represents the Kingdom of England.

The white saltire of Saint Andrew for Scotland.
The red Salttire of Saint Patrick to represent Ireland, althaugh the Republic of Ireland is not longer part of the United Kingdom but Nrthern Ireland is.

Wales is not represented because when this Union was created in 1606, Wales was a principality of the Kingdom of England.

Another relevant aspect about this Union Jack is that represents three different Saints and three different stories:
- A Martyr: Saint Andrew from Scotland.
- A Knight: Saint George of England.
- A Slave: Saint Patrick from Ireland.

Finally to answer the question, you can can call this flag both Union Flag or Union Jack, even you can call it United Kingdom Flag, well until the UK continues.
