What does STEAM mean?

 S.T.E.A.M.?  What is that? Maybe you are thinking in a special room full of steam where you can relax, but you are wrong because  this new word comes from  STEAM Education   that according to the Institute For Arts Integration " is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking " ( https://artsintegration.com/what-is-steam-education-in-k-12-schools/)                                  S for Science                                  T for Technology                                  E for Engineering                           ...

Something about our exchange students and volunteers

During this 2023 we count with some exchange students who are volunteers in some local organizations, too.
Here we just want to mention them and their labor with us.
First of all is Mara Laga who is a very special participant in our English club because first, she was one of our students during the second semestry in 2022 but now she decided to help us to improve our students english level at the school. She is comming every Monday and Thursday to share time in english with our Seminarist English club students in the afternoons, moreover she visits every week the kinderdarten, fisrt and second grade in their regular classes.

Since February Jef Tek, another Belgian exchange student and volunteer is sharing time with our students every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, he enjoys each moment with our students with his funny comments and experiences, too.



Finally we have received Anna Milles, a very kind German volunteer who is comming just two weeks ago, she is nineteen years old and she is visiting us every Friday afternoon, her attittude and very special personality makes Anna one of those people with whom everyone wants to talk.



We expect we could continue with this  beautifull experience with these foreing students during this 2023 because is one of those alternatives that we have to share and know more about other cultures  while help them to learn Spanish and we improve our English level.
